Myth Wagyu

Wagyu means “japanese cattle” and stands for an exceptional breed from Japan. The breed is also known as “Kobe-Rind” or “Kobe beef”, but this name is just eligible for animals born, raised, fattened and butchered in Kobe area in the prefecture of Hyogo in Japan. Usually Wagyu cattle are black, but there are also red ones. They are a medium-sized breed, weighting between 600kg and 1000kg depending on their sex.

The breed is shrouded in mystery. Reportedly they enjoy daily massages, classical music and beer. Japanese Wagyu cattle is not kept outdoors and it is said they are being fed with beer to boost their appetite and to provide relief from being kept inside.

Their exceptional flesh is one of the most expensive and exclusive food in the world.
